Tristan is a tough looking guy with a tough looking team, but he has golden heart. He may not look the part with his gorilla-like-face and all... but he is gentle and quite shy... and awkward. He is especially awkward when dealing with outrageous people, or people he admires... or people he likes... or people in general.

He was born in Canalave City. When he was a little kid he was quite hyperactive, he often got mixed up in quarrels and problems. For this reason his parents got him into martial arts, hoping he would be corrected. In fact, learning karate and battling with pokémon in Canavale Gym helped him a lot. He grew up to be a more composed and calm person.

Soon enough he left the gym to travel around the world with his pokemon, battling along the way.

-Capitán Trueno (aka Capi or Trueno) / Luxray / Male

He is the grumpy one. He thinks he knows better than anybody. Truth be told, he is probably the smartest one in his team. He don’t get along with Rintintin, the silliness of the arcanine irritates him. Also, all his teamates are male... an he has rivalry issues with them but respects Sargent and Tristan. He gets along way better with female Pokémon tough. He is vain.

-Muscules / Machamp / Male

Layback but also hardworking. Muscules is very serious about his training if only to brag about his muscles and show off. But he is trustful and a good natured guy. He is been with Tristan since his begins in Canalave City.

-Tercius / Sazandora / Male

Tercius is a voracious pokemon. He eats like three pokemon and he eats everything. He gets along well if you don’t plan on eating his share. Fighting and eating are his two passions.

The dragon pokemon may go berserker any moment when fighting, but usually listens to his trainer.

-Pretorian / Guruugu / ???

Pretorian looks all big and intimidating, but it has a good heart. In fact, it is the nicest pokemon in Tristan team. Pretorian worries about everyone and is very protective with its trainer and its fellow pokemon. It likes flowers and cute things.

- Rintintin / Arcanine / Male

If you are a small-size pokemon, run for your live! Rintintin is a big silly dog, and a bully. He likes to run after smaller pokemon... and eating them, or at least biting them... or putting them into his mouth. If you are not a small-size pokemon you don’t have too much to worry about. He is a friendly and loyal guy.

He becomes ferocious and diligent in battle.

-Sargent / Swampert / Male

Sargent is Tristan first pokemon. He is the leader among his fellow teammates. When everybody else is exhausted from training, he still goes on and makes the others go on... If there is anything that Sargent loves more than training is relaxing or playing in the water. He is cheerful most of the time but get serious when battling.
